Join us on November 19th for a Fall Family Smoker & Food Packing Party. We'll have a good time socializing over delicious smoked meats and other homemade dishes while doing good as we pack up donations for the Capital Area Food Bank.
Between now and November 19th, please place your non-perishable food donations in the box on the clubhouse front porch. Most wanted items include beans, canned veggies and fruits, peanut butter, cereal, grains, and healthy snacks. Last year the CP Club donated 500 pounds of food. Let's beat our record!
At the Smoker, drinks, sides and desserts are BYOB/potluck. We’re asking for a door charge of $10 per household to cover the cost of the meaty goodness.
Let us know if you want to be part of the all-day smoker crew (you can't rush greatness!). Otherwise, bring your beverages, sides and desserts at 5:30 p.m. when the party gets started.
Kids are welcome! We will have teenage Club members babysitting 3+ year old (potty trained) children upstairs. They'll enjoy a kid-friendly movie and munch on popcorn - and smoked meat! We kindly ask for a $5 babysitting donation per child.
